This certification issued in Brazil is at the same level as other countries that are part of the IECEx, based on conformity assessments carried out by Certification Bodies, based on the international standards of the IEC 60079 Series or the respective Brazilian Technical Standards adopted by the ABNT NBR IEC 60079 series, without national deviations.

This type of “Ex” certification meets the old needs of companies that use equipment and installations for explosive atmospheres, which until recently did not have repair shops that met the technical requirements of the Quality Management System (QMS) and personal skills on the activities of repair, overhaul, recovery and modification of "Ex" equipment.
